HOTEL ACCOMODATION
Gens Italica has negotiated special hotel accommodations agreements for the Six Nations participants: we have identified and selected three “four stars” hotels: two located in the Cernusco area and one located downtown Milan.
Within these three hotel, on the other hand, we have identified the “AS Hotel” in Cambiago as “preferred Six Nations” hotel: it is a new hotel with functional spaces and attractive design, suitable to spend a pleasant stay .
The AS Hotel is at approximately 10 km from the venue: (15 minutes approx).
The AS Hotel confirmed us their capability to host all the Six nations teams. Gens Italica has negotiated a booking option for Six Nation Teams until 31st March 2009. To confirm the reservations the Teams can contact the hotel directly until 31st March 2009 at the latest. After that date the reservations could be confirmed upon availability.
Furthermore to try to provide a wider service to our international hockey friends we have selected an alternative Hotel in Cernusco area (Hotel Senator) and one (Hotel Carrobbio) in Milan (downtown).
NOTE
For any hotel communication and reservations please quote always the keyword: Gens Italica Six Nations Hockey Tournament. The hotels will apply the special terms and condition that we obtained for the Six Nations participants.

SERVICES
Shuttle:
We are negotiating to have a shuttle service from the AS Hotel to the venue and vice versa. We will be back on the topic as soon as we will get the confirmation of the availability and the prices of the service.
Medical Services:
Two doctors on shift will be always available on the pitch during the Tournament. Furthermore a high qualified physiotherapist and osteopath will be available for assistance and consulting.
Hospital
The Hospital is located at approximately 300 meters from the venue.
Furthermore the following services will be available at the pitch:
Ball boys
Electronic Score Board with Stopwatch Display
Stand with Technical Hockey Equipment Pro-Shop (TK, Gens Italica)
Stands with Italian Desk (Italian Products, wine, spirits, etc.
As the captain’s of the Six Nations agreed on their meeting during 2007 tournament in Brussels, and as per the minute of the Captain Meeting of Dusseldorf 2008 each team has the obligation to buy at least 16 Food Tickets. This new rule regarding the 16 person minimum rule per team for the “week-end food ticket” had worked well and it was agreed by the Six Nations to make this experimental rule permanent.
Tournament Food Tickets will include Friday´s dinner, Saturday lunch and Sunday lunch. The price for the package will be € 100 (onehundred) per person for the whole weekend.
Gens Italica is happy to confirm that the Gala Dinner on Saturday evening will be free to 22 persons (participants, who have bought a “week-end Food Ticket package” do not have to pay for the Gala Dinner separately). Drinks (water and wine) during the Gala Banquet will be served at the table free of charge.
Any extra participant will be charged as follows:
Lunch or dinner € 12,00 – drinks excluded
Gala Dinner € 60,00 – drink served at the tables included. For children attending, a reduced price of € 30,00 will be charged.
The Gala Dinner will take place c/o the Cernusco Hockey Club Via Goldoni, 4 - 20063 Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan) Italy.
When the restaurant is closed, snacks and sandwiches will be available.
The bar in the Club house will be open from 8.00 to the end of the daily activity.
NOTE
In order to make the final arrangements we would appreciate if you could keep us always informed (Mr. Cesare Cofanelli e-mail: cesare.cofanelli@gens-italica.it and Mr. Roberto Cena e-mail: roberto.cena@gens-italica.it) about the total number of players, accompanying persons and extra participant to the food-package and to the Gala Dinner.
